My Photos
My Photos is an account tab, not a placeable feature. It appears inside Settings when Ultimate Member - User Photos is active on your site.
What a member sees
Section titled “What a member sees”- Their albums, with a photo count on each.
- The photos in an album.
- Totals for photos and albums, counted across everything rather than the page being viewed. A member with four hundred photos sees four hundred rather than the twenty currently loaded.
- Delete, per photo.
Photos load a page at a time as the member scrolls.

Cropping
Section titled “Cropping”Uploaded photos can be cropped before they are saved. The crop is applied on save, and the original is not retained for album photos — unlike avatars and cover photos, where the original is kept so repositioning always works from the full image. See Profiles.
What it needs
Section titled “What it needs”- Ultimate Member - User Photos active on your site.
- The Photos endpoint group enabled under Memberside → REST API.
- A Settings feature placed in navigation, since the tab lives inside it.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Album and photo visibility follows the rules the plugin enforces on your site. The app does not add or relax any — a photo a member cannot see on the web is not returned to the app either.
When it does not work
Section titled “When it does not work”| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The tab is missing | User Photos is not active | Activate the plugin |
| The tab is there and empty | The Photos endpoint group is off | Enable it |
| Counts show zero with photos present | The count is page-independent and read separately | Confirm the Photos group is fully enabled, not partially |
| Upload fails | The Uploaders group is off, or the file is too large | Enable it, and check your server’s upload limit |
| A photo will not delete | The member does not own it | Expected |
