A magnifier in your navigation that opens a full-screen search.

Add it to your app
Section titled “Add it to your app”- Drag Search onto a navigation bar. It works well in the upper nav or as a top-nav item, where a magnifier is expected.
- Open its settings and choose which types to search.

Search types need their backing feature
Section titled “Search types need their backing feature”The types available come from your site. A type only makes sense if the app can open a result — searching posts is useless when tapping a result goes nowhere.
Before enabling a type, place the feature that opens it:

What your members see
Section titled “What your members see”A search field and results grouped by type. Members are shown with their avatars, using the same User Lists styling as the directory.
Recent searches are kept so a member returning to the screen can repeat one without retyping.

When it does not work
Section titled “When it does not work”| Symptom | Cause | Fix |

| No results ever | The Search group is off | Enable it |
| A type is not offered | Your site does not expose it | Check the search settings on your site |
| Members are found, nothing else | Only Members is enabled | Enable more types |
