Forum Moderation (bbPress)

Where a moderator finds work they were not already looking at. Topics and replies waiting on a decision, in one list.

Three, not four. ForumWP has a Reported queue; bbPress has no reporting feature at all, so there is nothing to put in one.

Each tab carries a count, so a moderator can see where the work is without opening all three.

Anyone without the moderate capability gets a short notice saying so — never an empty list. “Nothing to moderate” and “you may not moderate” are different answers, and showing the first to someone who should be seeing the second is how a backlog goes unnoticed.

Approve, mark spam or not-spam, trash and restore, all from the row. The buttons drawn on a row are exactly the ones that apply to it in its current state — a published topic offers no Approve, a trashed one offers Restore.

On BuddyBoss Platform there is no Approve or Unapprove: its forums are built on an older bbPress that has no approval step. Everything else works the same.

Tapping a topic opens it in full, where close, reopen, pin and unpin are also available.
