Add-ons and build packs
Your builder plan covers the app. Add-ons cover what a growing community needs around it: storage, live updates, notifications and more builds. Each one is its own monthly subscription, separate from your plan and from each other.

Free includes none of the three services.
Service tiers
Section titled “Service tiers”Media CDN, Realtime and Push share one ladder of prices. What each tier holds differs by service.

Each allowance is pooled across your account. One subscription covers your production site, your staging site and any others, up to the tier’s domain count. Staging counts as a domain.
Add-ons are billed monthly only. Yearly billing applies to builder plans.
What happens at the cap
Section titled “What happens at the cap”Every tier is a hard cap. Nothing is billed for going over — but each service behaves differently when it gets there, and the difference matters.

A tier you buy replaces what your plan includes
Section titled “A tier you buy replaces what your plan includes”That makes some purchases a step down. Check the table before you buy:

On Unlimited, only Scale raises Realtime or Push. On Pro, every tier does.
Cancel the service tier and your plan’s included allowance comes back.
Build packs
Section titled “Build packs”A build pack adds builds to your plan’s monthly allowance. Unlike the service tiers, a pack adds — it never replaces.

A pack works on Free too: Free with +25 is 28 builds a month.
You hold one pack at a time. To go from +25 to +100, change the pack on the Build packs tab rather than buying a second one. Cancelling returns you to your plan’s allowance, not to zero.
Packs follow the same month as the meter: the extra builds are available from the 1st, and unused builds do not roll over. See Your build allowance.
If you regularly need +100 on Pro, look at Unlimited first. Pro with +100 is $108 a month for 130 builds and five apps; Unlimited is $129 for 100 builds, unlimited apps, and ten times the Realtime and Push allowances.
The Memberside plugin
Section titled “The Memberside plugin”Free on every plan, Free included. The Memberside plugin is the bridge between your WordPress site and your app: every app needs it, and there is no subscription, no allowance and nothing to cancel.

Optimizer is part of the plugin, not a separate install or purchase. The paid tiers above are what Media CDN, Realtime and Push cost; connecting them through the plugin costs nothing. See Install the plugin.
Buying an add-on
Section titled “Buying an add-on”- Open Billing in the builder.
- For a build pack, choose the Build packs tab. For Media CDN, Realtime or Push, open that service’s page in the builder and choose Plans.
- Choose a tier.
- Approve the subscription at PayPal.
The allowance changes once PayPal confirms the subscription, not when your browser returns from PayPal.
Media CDN, Realtime and Push also need your WordPress site to authorise them. See Authorising a site.
When it does not work
Section titled “When it does not work”| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
