Verified Users
Puts the verified badge on members who have it.
This is a background feature. It does not create a screen — it adds a badge to screens that already exist.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”| Plugin | Ultimate Member - Verified Users |
| Endpoint group | Users |
| Plan | Every plan |
Add it to your app
Section titled “Add it to your app”- Open the Background tab.
- Drag Verified Users onto it.
- Choose where the badge appears.
Only one is allowed.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Directories | Show the badge in chosen member directories | None |
| Forms | Show it on profiles using chosen forms | None |
| Groups | Show it in group member lists | Off |
| Activity | Show it in the feed and activity | Off |
Choose at least one context. Placed with nothing selected, the feature does nothing at all — which is the usual reason it appears not to work.
This feature has no Appearance tab, because it renders no screen of its own.
What your members see
Section titled “What your members see”A verification mark beside verified members’ names in the contexts you chose.
Turning it on for activity is the highest-value choice in most communities: a feed is where members most need to know whether an account is who it says.
When it does not work
Section titled “When it does not work”| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No badge anywhere | No context is selected | Choose directories, forms, groups or activity |
| The card is greyed out | UM - Verified Users is inactive | Activate it |
| It will not drop | One is already placed | Check the Background tab |
| The badge shows in some places only | Only those contexts are selected | Select the others |
| Nobody is verified | Nobody has been verified on your site | Verify them in Ultimate Member |
| No Appearance tab | It renders no screen | Expected |
