Notifications (BuddyPress)
Everything BuddyPress tells a member about, in one native list.

What members see
Section titled “What members see”Friend requests, mentions, group activity, new messages — whatever the components on your site raise. The wording comes from BuddyPress itself, so a notification from a third-party component reads correctly without the app knowing that component exists.
Members can filter to unread, read or all, mark one or all read, and delete one.
Taps open screens, not a browser
Section titled “Taps open screens, not a browser”Every notification carries a destination the app understands, worked out on your site rather than guessed from a link. A message opens the conversation, a mention opens the activity, a group notification opens groups, and a friend request opens that member’s profile. Anything the app has no screen for opens the member it is about — never the in-app browser.
The same is true of a tapped push notification.
With Realtime switched on, notifications arrive without the member pulling to refresh, and the bell updates on its own. Without it the list still works: it refreshes when opened and every 45 seconds while it stays open.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Opens on — unread, read, or all. All means both: a notification a member has already read stays in that list rather than disappearing the moment they read it. Needs Memberside 2.54.0 or later; before that, All showed only the unread ones.
Let members delete notifications — show a delete control on each row. Marking read is always available.
Open member profiles in — which Profile feature a tap on a member’s photo or name opens. Every placed Profile is offered, plus Member Profile (BuddyPress), and Don’t link draws the name as plain text. Left alone it follows the first Profile you placed; see Tab settings.
Not the same as Ultimate Member notifications

Section titled “Moving these events to Memberside”This screen reads BuddyPress’s own notification table. Memberside keeps its own, and can raise the same eleven BuddyPress events itself — with clustering, push, email and per-member control that BuddyPress does not offer.
You move across one event at a time, under Memberside → Notifications on your site. Handing an event over stops BuddyPress adding it to this list, so members are told once rather than twice.
Once every event has moved, this screen has nothing left to show and can be replaced with Notifications. You can also hand everything over at once by switching off Notifications under Settings → BuddyPress → Components — at which point this screen is empty, so swap it before you do.
While a site is partway through, running both screens is expected. Each shows only the notifications it raises.
