Job Moderation

The moderator’s screen: every job waiting for approval, oldest first, with Approve and Reject on each row.

Jobs only wait for approval when Set submissions as Pending is on in JobBoardWP → General → Job Submission, or when Published Job Edits requires approval. With both off, this screen stays empty.

Drag Job Moderation onto a navigation bar or into the side drawer, and set its Restrictions to the roles that moderate.

The restriction is a courtesy, not the security boundary. The site refuses the queue to anyone without JobBoardWP’s edit_others_jb-jobs capability, whatever the app shows, and the screen says so plainly rather than showing an empty list. On a default site only administrators have that capability.

Pending jobs, the one waiting longest first. Each row shows the job title, the company, who posted it and when.

ButtonWhat it does
ApprovePublishes the job, through JobBoardWP’s own approval, so its author is notified exactly as when approving in wp-admin
RejectMoves the job to the trash. It can be restored from wp-admin

Tapping a row opens the Job screen, where the same two controls are in the menu.
