Builder tour
The builder has three parts: a sidebar of features, a canvas where you place them, and a preview. This page names everything, so the rest of the documentation can point at it.
The header
Section titled “The header”Across the top:
- Your site URL, with a link that opens it. A quick check that the app is pointed where you think.
- Settings, which opens Global App Settings — everything that applies to the whole app rather than one screen.
- A bell, counting what would stop a store submission today: blockers in red, warnings in amber. The list is read from the features you have placed, so it moves as you build. Opening it shows what each one is, and links through to the app’s full listing.
- Last build, with a download link for the most recent successful one.
- Builds left this month, counting down across every app in the account.
- Build, which starts a compile.
- Downloads, which takes you to the app’s page for the APK, the AAB and the build log.
The feature sidebar
Section titled “The feature sidebar”Available Features, on the left. Each card names a screen and the WordPress plugin it is built from. Search filters the list.
A greyed-out card means its plugin is not active on the connected site. Your own template screens appear here too, under Your Templates — one row per project, which opens to show the screens inside it.
Drag a card onto the canvas to place it.
The canvas
Section titled “The canvas”Tabs across the top, one per navigation zone plus three others:

The preview
Section titled “The preview”A phone frame rendering your app against your real site. It can sit as a canvas tab or be docked to a rail on the right, where it stays visible while you edit. Docked, the Preview canvas tab disappears rather than showing the same thing twice.

On a phone or tablet
Section titled “On a phone or tablet”On a screen narrower than a laptop, the builder rearranges itself so each part gets the whole width:
- Preview and Builder become two tabs under the header. Preview shows the phone frame; Builder shows the canvas and its navigation zones.
- Available Features opens from the Features button on the Builder tab, as a drawer from the left. Tap a card to add it to the zone you have open — there is nothing to drag.
- The header keeps the back link, the bell and Build, shown as a hammer. Everything else — Settings, last build, builds left, Downloads and help — is under the ⋮ menu.
A placed feature keeps its actions under its own ⋮ menu: Show in preview, Settings, Duplicate and Remove. Show in preview takes you to the Preview tab. Opening a feature’s settings, from either tab, takes you to Builder, where the panel opens. On Preview, the phone frame spans the full width and scrolls.
Where settings live
Section titled “Where settings live”Two places, and knowing which is which saves most of the hunting.
Global App Settings — the Settings button in the header. Anything that applies to the whole app, across four tabs:

Tab settings — select a placed feature. Anything that applies to that one screen. Three tabs, Appearance, Features and Restrictions.
If you are looking for a colour, it is global. If you are looking for which form a screen uses, it is on the tab.
Saving
Section titled “Saving”Changes save as you make them. There is no save button, and the preview updates immediately.
The built app does not. Anything you change here reaches a phone only after the next build.
