Add it to your app

Drag Events onto a navigation bar. A community that runs events regularly should give this a bottom-nav slot; one that runs them occasionally should put it in the side drawer.

What your members see

Your event listing and event pages. Members stay signed in, so events restricted to members show correctly rather than asking them to sign in again.

Reminding members

An event nobody opens the app to look at is an event nobody attends. Two things help:

• Notifications, so an event announcement reaches members rather than waiting to be found.
• A News Feed post when an event opens, which is what members actually read.

The events tab is where members go once they already know there is something to look at.

When it does not work

Symptom	Cause	Fix
The screen is blank	The URL is empty or unreachable	Set it, and open it in a browser
The card is greyed out	UM - Events is inactive	Activate it
It asks members to sign in	The session did not carry	Confirm your site serves over HTTPS
Content is cut off sideways	The events page is not responsive	Fix it on your site
Members never see new events	Nothing announces them	Place Notifications
